Possible Finance
Designing and scaling financial products that make borrowing clearer, more accessible, and easier to manage.
Since 2022, I’ve led product design across onboarding, eligibility, offers, repayment, servicing, account management, membership, and growth on iOS, Android, and responsive web. My work includes revenue critical payment flows, dashboard information architecture, onboarding efficiency, experimentation, and systems that help teams deliver consistently.
FRAMING THE PROBLEM
Possible serves customers navigating financial pressure within complex underwriting, regulatory, and technical constraints. I kept customers’ financial reality and emotional state central to product decisions while aligning product, design, engineering, research, data science, marketing, content, and legal partners around solutions that balanced customer needs, feasibility, and business outcomes.
FROM INSIGHT TO SHIPPED EXPERIENCE
I owned design direction for revenue critical payment flows, dashboard information architecture, and onboarding improvements. I used customer research and A/B testing to identify friction, improve clarity and efficiency, and determine what customers needed to understand or do next. When technical constraints challenged the ideal experience, I worked directly with frontend and backend engineers to simplify scope and find practical solutions without losing customer value.
BUILDING FOR SCALE
Beyond individual features, I helped establish organized production files, reusable components, and critique practices that raised consistency across work in progress. I regularly led feedback sessions that helped teams resolve interaction and visual design issues before development. I also helped design a weekly AI supported component audit that identifies inconsistencies, surfaces maintenance needs, and strengthens alignment between the design system and products using it.
IMPACT
My work supported revenue critical payment behavior, more efficient onboarding, and clearer account management across mobile and web. An experiment on flexible payments increased non-scheduled payments by 10–15% after launch. Research, reusable patterns, critique, and stronger system maintenance also helped teams make better decisions and deliver more consistent experiences as the platform grew.
FROM APPROVAL TO REPAYMENT
I designed the core lending journey as one connected experience, from reviewing an offer and understanding terms to choosing a schedule, making a custom payment, and tracking progress. For customers whose cash flow did not align with preset dates, I simplified the path to pay when funds were available while clarifying balances, timing, confirmation, and recovery states.
An experiment on the flexible payment experience increased non-scheduled payments by 10–15% after launch. High-fidelity prototypes helped product, engineering, research, analytics, and legal resolve constraints before build and move into production with clearer specifications.
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
I designed account management around the questions customers need answered quickly: what is due, when it is due, which account is connected, and what can be changed. The work covered dashboards, transaction history, payment rescheduling, linked accounts, and notifications across mobile and web.
Reusable status, confirmation, error, and empty state patterns reduced repeated decisions and helped the experience stay coherent as new servicing capabilities were added.
SYSTEMS, WEB, AND GROWTH
I evolved the design system alongside product work, defining color scales, inputs, selection controls, and responsive patterns that balanced accessibility, emotional clarity, and visual craft.
Those foundations extended into web acquisition, membership, and referrals. I used the same product thinking throughout: clear value, understandable next steps, and consistent feedback. This connected growth surfaces with the signed in experience instead of treating them as separate campaigns.
