Seed CeFi

A fintech concept exploring how familiar banking patterns could make crypto saving clearer, more trustworthy, and easier to understand.

Seed CeFi

Making crypto saving feel familiar, understandable, and supported.

Seed CeFi explored how traditional financial institutions could make digital asset saving feel understandable, supported, and habitual for everyday customers. I developed the product concept, customer journey, mobile experience, design system, visual identity, and pitch narrative.

FRAMING THE OPPORTUNITY

Crypto products often assume confidence and vocabulary that many customers do not have. Seed CeFi asked what could change if digital asset saving began inside a familiar banking relationship instead of on an unfamiliar exchange. The concept positioned crypto as a savings behavior rather than a trading activity, emphasizing understandable choices, recurring contributions, visible progress, and clear explanations where trust matters most.

DESIGNING THE PRODUCT MODEL

I structured the proposed experience around five connected moments: understand the offer, choose a savings goal, set a contribution amount and cadence, review risk and access, and track progress over time. Familiar banking patterns reduced the amount of new information introduced at once, while plain language guidance made volatility and account behavior easier to evaluate.

PRODUCT PRINCIPLES

Familiar before novel: start with savings language and patterns people already understand. Progressive disclosure: introduce market concepts only when they affect a decision. Visible control: make contributions, timing, and plan changes easy to review and adjust. Trust at decision points: surface risk and access details before confirmation.

SYSTEMS AND DELIVERY

The work extended beyond individual screens into a reusable mobile design system, visual identity, presentation deck, and pitch materials. Components supported onboarding, money movement, balances, progress, education, confirmations, and changing market states. This created a product language that could scale from an early concept into a ready for partners direction.

PROPOSED SUCCESS MEASURES

Because Seed CeFi remained a concept case study, these were intended measures rather than achieved results: comprehension of contributions and market movement, first plan activation, recurring contribution adoption, self service control, and customer confidence.

WHAT I WOULD VALIDATE NEXT

The next step would be testing the value proposition, terminology, risk comprehension, and contribution flow with people who save through traditional banks but have limited experience with crypto. The goal would be to learn where familiarity builds confidence and where additional explanation or safeguards are still needed.

CONCEPT OUTCOME

Seed CeFi became a cohesive product and brand system spanning the mobile experience, interaction model, visual language, presentation deck, and pitch materials. The work demonstrates how I turn an ambiguous fintech opportunity into a structured, credible product direction.
